The Cowen Institute is currently seeking financial support to cover operational costs for the next three years and funding to grow the endowment to roughly $12 million over the next five years. While several private donors, as well as a number of local and national foundations and corporations, have committed funding to the Cowen Institute, additional revenue is needed to cover the personnel and infrastructure developments that will support public schools and ensure systemic transformation. Infrastructure includes the creation of an interactive website, listserv, and electronic newsletter that best meets the needs of the relevant stakeholders, and a software solution for cataloging research via a digital resource library.
