The Cowen Institute serves as an incubator for programs that have proven to raise student achievement in other school districts. We secure adequate funding for the programs, launch them, provide hands-on implementation support, track their effectiveness in the public schools in New Orleans, and, finally, facilitate the replication of successful ones.
